As first responders we pride ourselves in taking care of and serving others. We face danger with courage, tragedy with hope, and are willing to risk our own lives to save another. However, along the way we expose ourselves to the emotional pain of these traumatic events, and overtime it affects our emotional and physical wellbeing.
